Registration Process

STEP ONE

Select the session that will work with your schedule, create an online account, choose your session, select camper classes, and pay non-refundable deposit ($100/wk). If all sessions are full, please put your daughter on the waiting list for any session she is available to attend. We monitor the waiting lists very closely and will contact you right away if a spot opens up for her. There is no fee for waiting lists and you can be on multiple lists. Now you are part of the Rocky River family and can start counting down the days until your session begins!

The same information applies to Mother/Daughter and Great Escape Weekends. Waiting lists for these weekends are also monitored very closely and we will contact you right away if a spot opens up.

Please contact info@rockyriverranch.com or call 512.847.2513 with any questions.

STEP TWO

For Summer Camp sessions: pay all balances and complete all forms by April 1st. If registering after April 1st, you must pay the total fee and complete forms at the time of registration.

For Mother/Daughter and Great Escape Weekends: pay all balances and complete all forms ONE MONTH prior to your event.

STEP THREE

For Summer Camp sessions: look for more information about theme days, cabin assignments and lots more to come by email, and download the POINTERS TO PARENTS packet, which will walk you through the camp experience (updated in January).

For Mother/Daughter and Great Escape Weekends: we will email you with details regarding activity options, packing list, schedule for the weekend, and much more so look for information prior to your event.

Rocky River Ranch experience

Mama Knolk — what a wonderful and gentle lady. She always wanted the best for us and for us to be our best.

‒  Jeanette Brian Lawrence Years at camp: 1960s

I think camp was very beneficial for my daughter last year. She came home with new experiences that she will never forget. It's something that she is able to share with her friends and schoolmates too. It made a huge impact on her and I hope by going again this year that she continues to grow and mature as a thoughtful young lady.

‒  Robin Juarez

I had a wonderful experience of being a counselor at RRR 1960-61 and 1966-67. Those first 2 years I knew and loved both Mama Knolk and Jane. Later, I was there with Skeet and Sandy. I have great memories of all those special people and all the fun times at camp. I'm so glad the camp is still going strong!

‒  Mary Jane McDuffie Dillard Years at camp: 1960-61, 1966-67

RRR gives young women the chance to excel in areas where they may not have ever had a chance to before … and an opportunity to gain self esteem and confidence. These are such amazing and important gifts that will stay with campers their entire lives. This is why RRR will forever be a "home" to its campers. A place where they feel accepted, and loved and special.

‒  Margaret "Meg" Beecher Lowery Years at camp: '89-2000, 2005

I can't believe this will be my second summer away from Rocky River. I'm so campsick. I find myself singing RRR songs all the time, and i wish I could be there now! Camp has meant so much to me. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

‒  Sara Jane Mitcham Years at camp: 1998-2003

My summers at RRR were the most special times of my childhood. I have so many great memories that I'll never forget. Thanks to Rocky River, I found my true calling in life … teaching children! And, I fell in love with Wimberley so much, that I live here now!

‒  Mollie Cessac Booth Years at camp: 1979-1991, 1999-2000
